MovieFactory 5 Ulead Corel version 6, 7 ? have I been asleep

I have MF 5 and I was tying to import a divx/avi file, but 5 said it didn't support, So I started to look for the latest version.

1. did Corel by Ulead?

2. what is the latest version of MovieFactory?

3. will any version import divx/avi files?

Corel did in fact buy Ulead.
Latest version depends upon your Region.
Most parts of the world have version 6, Australia has 7.
