I have a .VSP project which I wish to insert in its entirity into another project. The project I wish to insert consists of various elements including a:
.VSP file
Cross fade effect
UVS....BMP image as a cut away
Several VTS....mpg clips edited from a longer recording
Reverse video clip
VTS....mpg clip with reverse video
Total Length 00:04:30:16
a. If I attempt to drag it from the time line to the library only that particular element (clip) is taken over.
b. If I select "Load Video" & click on the file name in the directory where it is located the error message "Unable to open .... File format mismatch" is returned
I am obviously forgeting something - put it down to old age! Can you remind me of what I should be doing, please?

As you are aware a VSP file is a text file of instructions telling the VideoStudio Editor to do this that and the other with one or more video files, images etc.
You can "nest" a VSP within another but I don't know how many times you can place a nest inside another nest. Perhaps you might need to render out one of the vsp files and use the rendered video instead.
