I have Window 7 @ 64 bit, 10 GIG RAM, DUAL QUAD XEON @ 3gighz! That's 8 Xeon processors! My virtual memory has been set at 10 gig min 30 gig max!

What more do I need to publish a 10 min video???

Anybody have this problem? I can only publish my HD @ the lower quality HD.
I get the same error message using windows 7 - 4 gig ram, 500 gig hard drive, with i7 processor

Can you please tell me step by step how to change the virtual memory to 10 gig min 30 gig max on windows 7 - I will try changing my settings
click on the My Computer w/ 2nd mouse button and choose Properties.
Click on Advanced System Settings.
In the Advanced Tab, click on Settings under Performance .
Under Performance Options, choose Advanced Tab.
Under Virtual memory, Click on Change.
Then uncheck Autmatically manage paging. Click on Custom Size and SET your virtual memory size.

I've tried this to increase to 30 gig on my Dual QUAD Xeons, but still does not work.

regards.

HI

i have a 70 minute animation using a multitude of HD video files and a soundtrack created in cubase as an WMA file,

when i was using windows XP 32 bit, i could process the fill in HD but it took about 14 hours and working on the file wa slow and the preview pane was excessivly jerky

i upgraded to win 7 64 bit, but after too many crashes, i had a new motherboard and processor ( we think my processor had intermittent failure)

now my versatility with the program is vastly improved - i can review the preview pane with much improved clarity apart from some of the more complex transition effects

last night i got insufficient memory came up as i was using the program, but was only using 2.5 gig of th 8 Gig installed - when i tried to render again it came back with insufficient memory.

pc builder says it must be down toe the program and how it accesses memory - anyone know anything about that? have hardware decoder acceleration on, but encoder is not an option ( to be honest i dont know what the does/ means)

Help me OBE WAN KANOBE you are my only hope

many thanks

Dave

Try running some stress tests on your computer.

The stress test will test HSS Read/Write, Memory read/write and cpu performace pushed to the max. Leave the program running for a while 10min to 10 hrs depending and see if the computer locks up or stops operating.
