why is MF4 always buring at max speed?
Hi! Why is my MF4 always burning at max speed even though I specified slower speeds. Has any of you experience this? Why doesn't it follow my specified speed?

I've noticed the same problem. I have an LG GSA-4160B dual layer burner, firmware version A303. Regardless of what speed I choose, Movie Factory 4 ALWAYS says it's burning at 4x.
In addition, I've also noticed that if I put a brand new (or fully erased) DVD+RW in and try to burn video, it will eventually die with this error "The target device might have some problems. Please try again or reboot. (5213)". Telling MF4 to burn at 2.4x and restart DVD-RW format had no effect on this.
However, if I burned a file (anything) to the DVD+RW using Nero, it formated the disc fine. If I then tried to burn the exact same MF4 project to the disc that previously gave me the error, it ask's if I want to erase the disc and proceed. I choose yes and the burn completes normally. It does still write at 4X, even though I had specifically specified burning at 2.4x
