What is your OS? Windows Server 2000, 2003, or XP sp?
Are you on a Workstation, part of a Network, Dial-Up or High-Speed?
If so you may have a Debugger active in the background implemented by the Administrator, Server, or ISP in general. The Debugger is used to trace application or hardware activity. If you are on a Game Server you may get the same reaction.
If software installation is monitored, the debugger may be set to activate a Lock to insure tha program does not run or violate Group Profile Integrity.
Only the Admistrator can change Group Policy.
If not on a Network, or Server, and Not using Server software, do you have any Software Development Kits, or HTML, XTML Editors installed on your Computer? If so you may have the Debugger Feature turned on, and must turn it off.
xTremeLoc Manager Service is Software Used by Zone Alarm. I don't use ZA so don't know what feature you must turn off.
Ulead will try to access the Internet each time you boot the software. In Preferences, unckeck: Ulead"s Web site every X days.
You may stilll have to uninstall all versions of Ulead, Trial and Retail, and reinstall the Retail version to get the software to work.
