I have encountered two problems with my first use of VSx3.
A snapshot taken of the first frame of a 16:9 video appears in 4:3 ratio. I checked Settings and preferences but found no obvious solution.
When I inserted a photo that had been taken upside down and subsequently rotated to be the right way up it appeared upside down in the editing window but the right orientation as a thumbnail in the VS library [and everywhere else] .
I have to admit that I have not yet found a method for changing between 16:9 and 4:3 in X3. It was more obvious in VS 11.

Ratio problems
Thanks for your speedy reply to my dumb question about screen ratio. Also, I understand I can rotate upside down photos but it seems strange that when a photo is right way up everywhere else, it loads on the timeline upside down.
