Pan HDC TM10 suitability with VS Pro X3

Post by Delcole »

Having had great success with editing high definition projects and creating Blue Ray discs on VS Pro X2 Ult I recently turned my attention to AVCHD and purchased a Panasonic HDC-TM10.
This is a great camcorder but whilst I have successfully turned a small project into an mts file but then in attempting to burn a Blue Ray disc the result is a perfect picture but is spoilt by a 'shimmering' and 'artefacts' on the finished video. I have tried deleting 'smart render' in AVCHD without success.
I am wondering if anybody else has experienced this and if the TM10 is better served by VS X3.
Can anyone help me, please. Delcole.

Thanks mitchell65 for your prompt reply. I have looked at all of the suggestions re this problem and think it best if I leave this for a while and see if Corel come up with an answer in the shape of a download or possibly see if the solution is to upgrade to VS Pro X3. I will carry on shooting footage on HDV. Thank you once again, best wishes, Delcole.

Please do not get your hopes up that Corel will ever issue a patch for X2 now that X3 is on the market...
