Just ordered the X3 Video & Photo boxed bundle and was wondering if I should uninstall the X2 version before installing X3?
I see some say the Photo version of X2 works just fine side by side with X3 Paint Shop but I was wondering about the video version of X3 playing nice with X2.
I guess I will not need X2 anymore once I get the latest X3 version.
What ya think?
Should I uninstall X2 before installing X3 ?

I run both x2 and x3 together without a problem and if you look at the signatures of some of the "senior" members you will see that many of them run 5 or 6 previous versions. I should certainly keep X2 as you will, no doubt need it for authoring until the revision for x3 comes out from Corel.

Quite a number of us here have multiple versions of VS on the one computer with no apparent conflicts. However, I have to acknowledge that some users at least report some anomalies.
If you have no further intention of using X2, then by all means remove it. However, just be aware that the authoring module of X3 is pretty basic and, frankly, terrible. A lot of us keep X2 on the computer with X3 just to be able to use its authoring/burning module.
Corel is working on a fix for the X3 authoring side of things which hopefully will appear fairly soon. But until then, and until your make your own assessment of it in relation to your own needs, my inclination would be to keep X2 after you install X3...
