Help deleting DVDWorkshop2 ( I'm sorry)

Post by DiscCoasterPro »

I'm sorry to bother you again, but after following the instructions to a letter, I decided to do a registry search just on the long shot that something ULEAD related remained.

What I found was a ton of things. Typing them all out is laborious but here is the tip of the iceberg.

Please Advise .. :(

Deleting things from the Registry is DANGEROUS and can cause your computer to stop working and might even require you to re-install your operating system.

ONLY DELETE the entries you were advised to and DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE. Yes there will be other entries scattered about the Windows Registry, these should not cause your system any harm and should be LEFT ALONE.

Many programs install dozens even hundreds of registry entries, for example If you install Norton AntiVirus (Yeuk) and then search your Windows Registry you will find hundreds of entries.

Thank you. I ran CCleaner on the registry and it cleared all those. I made a backup first and took your advice not to manually play with those entries.

thank you.

I always keep an image of my HDD and after I install a new software and be convinced that everyting remained as it should, then I will backup again including the new software. Othwise if there is anyting wrong I can always go back to where I was before.
