i have created a dvd with a main menu and a sub menu.
the sub menu has a list of 13 chapters, with a button next to them to select the required chapter.
This works ok in DVD WS.
I saved the DVD to an ISO image, then burnt the image using Nero.
Now, on the actual disc, when i get past item 5 or 6 of the list of chapters, the "links" dont work, and it jumps back to the top of the list. The video is there, but the chapter marks seem to have disappeared, as when i play the video i can skip to the chapters that work, and am able to fast forward through the rest of the video.
Has anyone else had a similar problem?

There seem to be 2 possibilities:
Nero does not like your ISO file
Your ISO file is corrupt
Why not burn your disc in WS2, at least for a trial to see which? I always use it and have abandoned Nero.

Or instead of an ISO file, choose create folders and create the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders on your hard drive. You can play the virtual DVD on your hard drive to try it out. If it works, you can copy that to a read DVD with Nero or Workshop.
I don't think I've had 13 chapters on a single sub-menu... I've had about 20 chapters in the same "title", but with a handful of sub-menus with maybe 5 or 6 chapters per menu. These have always worked exactly as expected.
I also suspect a corrupted file, but maybe it's your source file. (???) I've had some weird problems caused by corrupt MPEG files. These files play OK with Media Player, but either cause Workshop to crash, or cause Audio/Video sync problems in the final DVD.

i loaded the iso with nero image drive, and found it has the same problem.
i went back to dvdws and burnt it from there, but still the same.
I then started a new project using the original mpeg (created with VS8 by the way), recreated the chapters, pulled in my saved menus, burned again and all was ok.
Sounds like some corruption somewhere in dvdws that only showed itself when the dvd was created.
thanks for the replies!
