Hello

I have studio 11+ with a 64 bit quad core processor computer. My question is if I move to a canon HG20 camera will I be able to output to SD dvd with this program or will I need to upgrade. The reason is that many of my family do not have Bluray dvd players.
Secondly do these programs take advantage of 64 bit computers.

Kind Regards

Have never used 11+ so not sure if it copes with HD footage. I guess not very well as VS x2 was not that good so if you upgrade I would go straight to VS x3. It has it's "Burning" problems but hopefully Corel will sort this very shortly. If most of your work is going to be in SD why are you thinking of going to an HD camcorder? I use both VS x2 and VS x3 and both will edit in HD but if you set you DVD output to SD then that is what you will get. Remember that a PS 3 will play Blue Ray and you can burn a Blue Ray folder to a standard DVD providing you keep the duration to 30 mins or less. You still need a PS 3 or Blu Ray player to play them though.
