Am trying to work out the purpose of the "Instant project" feature! As far as I can see there is a "frontispiece" followed by a random selection of images some with auto pan and zoom applied and all with a transition between. I can see that you could choose a style and delete all the images and insert your own but you dont need a special feature to do this. We have all been doing this for ever and a day. I have found where the frintispieces are stored on my PC and have imported them to dedicated library folder. Some of the pieces are duplicated as in Vintage01_Start.WMV and Fun01_4-3.wmv.
The Fun one however has an image embedded in the frame which cannot be deleted. I guess all the other "Fun" are the same they all have images embedded so are fairly useless unless you want to use sample images and not your own, but why would you want to do that.
The pieces that are usable I have put in my dedicated folder for future use but and will just ignore the Instant Project feature.
Am I missing the point here?

After reading the online help ("Learn"), it appears that Instant Project, which isn't explicitly mentioned, creates just a template on the timeline. After the template is created on the timeline, you are suppose to drag and drop your own videos and photos to the timeline. You can hold down the CTRL key as you drop a clip in order to replace a template clip.
Corel VideoStudio Express 2010 (Easy Edit) allows you to start with your own clips that are in the media bin and "create" a movie from a template. In the last step of creation in Easy Edit, you can do more advanced editing by sending the project to the VSPX3 advanced timeline.
