Ok people time to express yourselfs on how good or bad Pro x3 is.

Ratings 1 star being the worst and 5 being awesome. I will submit mine in the next week or two, just got it installed on the beast.

I would go 4.5 for the editor (hey, nothin's perfect), a 2 for the burner. Overall a 4.

I think it's way too early to get a good rating. In fact I know it's too soon, this rating could change over the next several weeks when people get more used to it.

4.8 would be mine, and the "burner" doesn't even come into play...;)

I like it a lot but give it 4.0 because it's missing lots of features when creating (sharing) project video files that I had before with the previous version. The editor rocks in my opinion... Al

Well I gotta tell you this. I got into the game at VS10 then upgraded to VS11+ which I think for a quick and easy edit its hands down the best.

I dont understand how you would take functions out of the game when you come out with the next version.... or at least improve it?

Thats why I wont give my final say in a few weeks. I just messed with it for 10 minutes and def like the interface more, well see in due time.

Thanks thus far for whoever rated it. Keep em coming

To be fair to Corel, I will reserve judgment until after the promised "Revision" has had an airing!

Why 2 for the burner? You mean the "burned" disk is problematic? Is it any different from the X2 burner?

Did my first video project with Pro X3. Still have to get more used to it.

It was a ballroom teaser clip, more news at 11 on X3.

What about the Editor stability ?
I experienced several time a crash during the rendering (random positions...) and sometimes the X3 got stuck during the editing.

Somehow, it looks like the crashes are directly proportional to the complexity of the project and the source file type: my last video blog si quite complex and uses AVHCD/mp3/WAV/MPG + many effects/transitions, 3 overlays tracks, 2 title tracks, 1 music track...
Sometimes I can perfectly render it, but last night it crashed (and I will discover later on, when back home, if it crashed again).
On the other hand, some simple videos with fewer AVCHD and less resources work fine...

I would like to know whether I am the only one experiencing these troubles and if Corel is aware of the stability issues of the X3 and preparing some patches...
