With just X2 installed, I can capture analog VHS. But with X2 and X3 both installed on my Windows XP Pro SP3 system, capturing VHS analog in X2 is broken.

I can't capture analog in X3 even if X2 isn't installed. The capture graph cannot be started.

This might help you found it using the search facility just below the main header of this Board:

It would also help if you don't hijack a thread that has nothing to do with your problem. Hence I am splitting it to a new one.

Even though Corel telephone support will tell you that the two won't interfere with each other, they will do so, even if you try to use whatever
bundled software that came with the capture device. The link above shows other people are having same problem, and people have discussed it on videohelp.com, with no help from Corel, other than for them to say it should work, and if it doesn't, use two computers, one to capture and one to edit. That is the only way I'm able to process video these days since upgrading from VS 9 to X2.

Thanks, I really wasn't asking for help.

The original poster in the other thread asked if there were any problems with X2 and X3 both installed. I just happened to come across a problem that I thought the OP might want to know about.

Sorry for the confusion.
