I wish to do some re-editing of some DVDs I have produced using VS!2, the DVDs have no menus on them. If I open VS12 and then select insert media file to library or time line, insert digital media everything works as expected , the file appears on the time line (or library).
If I then select play project on the viewing window all is well, footage plays along with audio, no problem so far.
At that point if I then select clip it plays the video fine but no audio, same happens if I select multi-trim option.
Is it something I am doing wrong or a setting somewhere buried?
If I capture from my camcorder (via firewire) there is no problem and everything works as expected with the audio and video.
Thanks in advance for any help

Do you not still have the original VSP files that you produced in VS 12? If you have try opening one of them. I feel this must be something wrong with the source files as I have just imported four videos from the DVD's and no problems with playing back the sound in any mode!
