To remove background frame color of the PiP clip [if using motion]

Apply PiP filter to video clip
Customize filter as needed [size, location, path, etc]
At X3 attribute panel, select "Mask & Chroma Key"
Change "Transparency" to a value of 1

Now only the contents of the PiP clip will show as the P-n-P, unless you left the shadow feature on [which is pretty cool to have the PiP cast a shadow as it "floats" above the main clip]

That's a very useful tip, another way to use the New Blue PiP filter... Thanks for posting it. The way Corel described to us beta-testers to use it is:

For your image/clip that you want to apply the PiP filter to, first right-click to set it to Full Screen, or just apply the setting for overlay track images to be full screen in the Preferences. Next go to Apply Overlay Options and select mask. In the mask templates provided, scroll down and look for the full frame one, it is all white, apply it to your image. Now drag your PiP filter to your image, and proceed.

Also try applying some of the other masks, you get some real neat effects for your PiP...;)

We were having a ##### of a time trying to figure it out... ;)

Tutorial on how to do this is found HERE. There's several tutorials on Vimeo for VS X3..
