I've been a PI user from its earliest days. As of version 12, I started having issues with it crashing after printing files of 1 MB or larger. Granted my machine is not the speediest, but a Pent 4, with 2.5 GB RAM and no other apps running at all should be able to handle a 1MB file with ease.
I'm printing to a Deskjet 5550 on brochure paper. If I take the same image, insert into a Word doc that file prints fine.
What is really strange is that I installed X3 when it was first released. X3 did not have the printing issue. I could even print the original UFOs for these brochures and they are about 6.5 MB. So, I bought X3 and ran with for a while. All was fine.
Then I felt comfortable enough to remove PI v12. Not long after that, X3 began to exhibit the same issue. So, instinct tells me that there's a DLL or OCX somewhere that's causing the problem. My X3 installation is certainly up to date (version 13.1.00.00) and I've applied the RAW patch.
Any suggestions on how I might troubleshoot further? It's not a huge problem, but I'd like to clear if it I can.
