Newbee needs help

Hi all
I would like to tap into the wealth of knowledge out there,
I have Corel Videostudio X2 and paintshop pro X2 using vista OS.
I would like to take a few stills off a DVD that was made for me from a recent holiday, my issue is that when I import the DVD into my Videostudio then start a new project, I then saved what I wanted as a stills image which was placed into the stills library within video studio.
How do I then get that image either into my pictures or paintshop pro X2??
You valued information would be welcomed.

When you capture a frame as a still image it is saved to your working folder. From your image editing software simply navigate to that working folder to open the image.

Many thank for your reply, But it seems that I am a bit slow here, as I said I have placed these images onto video studio library as a thumbnail, the bit I have problem with is:-
1 how to access the working file from paintshop
2 tried to open file and it says it can not do this...Why?
3 should I be doing something else after saving as a still image from video capture.

I don't know how Paintshop works, but I can guess there is an Open button. Clicking on that will probably open an explorer window where you can navigate to the working folder that you set for VideoStudio.

Hi Black Lab

Well I got there in the end, it was the case of looking within the correct folder, just looked at the properties to view the file path and then followed it.
The files are usv.bmp or usv.jpeg depending which format I saved it as.
