Crazy Question PSP X3 - Retail Version - Small or Large Box?

Post by Hooterville »

I know that this is a crazy question but I need to know.

Is the Boxed Retail Version shipping in the large or small box?

Anyone that has received the new retail boxed version of Paint Shop Pro X3 please let me know?

Thanks.

That really is a relative question. I would describe the shipping container as large, and inside was a small, preprinted box containing the CD and a 16-page booklet.

Thanks, Bob.

Are we talking as tall as a DVD or larger like hardcover book?

Hardcover books are of various sizes.

It is as tall as a DVD case.

Wide enough like a fair-sized book.

Here's a picture of my box next to a hot-chocolate cylinder.

From Corel. I bought the box before the boxes were supposed to ship.

Thanks,

Wonder if I purchase the boxed upgrade version will they ship me the full retail boxed version?

I don't think I've seen a boxed upgrade.

It is the full version. The only difference between the upgrade and the full, that I've ever known about, is the upgrade has upgrade pricing. :D

Hooter...

The only difference between upgrade and full is the price. The program is the same. Upgrade means they give you a discount for upgrading to the next version.

The program is the same, but it is your serial that holds the key to whether you have the upgrade or the retail. If you purchase X3 upgrade your serial will be a listed "upgrade serial".

I have confirmed this.

Are you in reality asking does it ship with the manual? The answer is no. If that is your answer , buy the download version. However personally I would wait and read the all of the post relating to X3 in this forum first.

The main advantage of the boxed version is that you can install just PSPP X3 without the "Corel PaintShop Photo Project Creator". You have to install both from the download version. You might find the Project Creator useful, but for me it is just 600 MB of buggy stuff that I'll never use.
