I use VS X3 on a machine with Intel Core i7, 12 GByte RAM and a NVidia GTX260 with CUDA. The OS is Win7 64bit.
I think VS X3 DON'T use more than one core AND DON'T use CUDA!
Can this confirm anyone?
Exportformat: mts, H264, 1920*1080i
Hints:
- VS X3 is not a test version.
- In the form "Setup" tabulator "Performance" I have 2 checkboxes. Both are ON, but both have the same textvalues (in german version!)
- The Nvidia drivers are new (196.21 from Jan. 2010)
- In the taskmanager the VS X3 use one Core!
- Other software (Cyberlink PD7 and MediaCoder) can use all cores of i7 and the CUDA-interface of the grafic card. If I new encode a video in full-HD H264 1080p i have rendertimes of about 1:1 of the video length!
What can I do???
best regards

I don't know if this is any consolation, Ken Berry with is Quad-core uses a program called Ashampoo Core Tuner. He says that it does help VS utilize multi-core. I know that Corel on their website states that VS X3 has been optimized for both, i7 processors and Nvidia Cuda, however for some reason on your system it is not.

You may need to contact Corel to see why it is not..
