Anyone interested in a challenge puzzle?

Post by DiscCoasterPro »

Hi all. I have a question first, and a challenge that I've been tortured with for a long time.

First the question. Is there a way to install another mpeg codec for DVDWS to read and I can use. Perhaps Mainconcepts or some other? If so, how would I go about doing it?

Next. If anyone is inclined to see if they have a suggestion. Please follow this link. My screen name is AVITRY in this forum, the first few posts are not really relevant, but please read through the posts here, and see what you can think of. It is puzzling and interesting.

thanks all who care to look....

As for the question; I belive that Ulead have been using Mainconcept's codec on DVDWS but I stand to be corrected. I know it has been used on MSP7.

Thanks for your reply.

Because this problem has plagued me for a very long time, I've decided to take a real longshot chance at a solution. That is buying a different copy of the program. Perhaps my dvd i somehow corrupt.

BH Photo is selling this program for 49.95 and for that price I'm going to gamble the longshot.

I do have a question. What is the best way to TOTALLY clean all remnants of my original install of DVD Workshop from my computer before I install this dvd.

thank you very much
