ASF Import for DVD PictureShow 2

So here is my problem... I have a DXG-301V DV camera. The camera records with MPEG-4 and uses ASF file formatting. I am trying to import this video into DVD PictureShow 2, but it will not recognize the formatting. Anyone have any idea how to overcome this? Do I need to convert the formatting to AVI? If so, how do I do that? Thanks!

You'll need to convert the .asf to an editable format like .avi or .mpg. I found a guide and program that will do that. River Past Video Cleaner
