Hi,
is there a way to mute a group of video or audio clips with one single command/operation ?
I tried to select a set of audio or video clips but then the "mute" option is not allowed...
Muting the audio of many video/audio clips in one shot

mute sound
Hi
That would be nice, but it has never been possible using Video Studio.
For Video
The quickest way is to use the mouse to mute and the keyboard arrow keys to navigate to the next clip.
Hi Update for X3
There is an option to copy and paste ¡¥attributes¡¦ from the top timeline, this seems to include the mute option.

A workaround is to save your project, then open a new project and insert the VSP into the timeline. You can then mute the entire project.

There is another way to do it, in X3 anyway. Copy/Paste Attributes will copy and paste the muting. So, mute the first clip, then right clip and choose Copy Attributes. Shift+Click all the other clips you want to mute and right click and choose Paste Attributes. Now all clips will be muted. Of course this will also copy/paste any other attributes such as filters, resizing, etc., so it's best to do this first.

Thanks for the suggestions. Actually the attribute copy-paste will also create a copy of every attribute, which is what I do not want because several clips have different fliters.
But I like the idea of importing the project.
The scenario stems from the fact that the audio filters do not work on AC3 audio (my video camera has only this audio format...), so, if I want to add some effects, I first render teh audio, then do some post-processing with some audio tool, and finally import the audio track again in the VS project. At that time, I would like to mute all the original audio sources and just listen to the new one.
