Grace period for upgrading from VS Pro X2 to X3?

Post by billludwig »

Does anyone know what Corel's policy is regarding a grace period for upgrading VS Pro X2 to X3? I bought X2 less than a month ago, and I would like to avoid the $69 upgrade fee to X3.

Thanks,

- Bill

There is no "grace period" that I'm aware of . You will need to contact Corel to see if they will grant any special pricing for you.

Corel does have a 30-day money back Guarantee...;) However you would have to pay the full price if you get your money refunded. I think that if you provide proof of your purchase date, they will probably work with you though.

Be a salesman, tell them that you've seen how much better X3 is, it has all the features and functions you've been looking for, that no other program comes close to what it can do... you get the drift??

I understand Corel's upgrade policy. I'll be getting a refund for my 3 week old version of X2, then I'll purchase a copy of X3. It's more trouble for Corel, but it's the way they've chosen to do business.

BTW, I love the product!!!
