Yes, I have. Just did, again, and all it has is "Home | Learn | Messages". Messages shows nothing/no messages.

Even tried the "gears" next to that. Did a manual "check for updates" as well as "About - 13.6...."

But have you clicked on that set of round dots? That brings up a new screen with tabs across the top which, after 3 days, includes Get More and do More. These do not appear on the main screen of X3 -- they only appear once you have clicked that circle of dots...

If I could paste a screen-shot here, I would show you the upper-right corner of my screen.

But you can. Create your screenshot, upload it to a server (You have probably got some free space from you ISP) and use the tags on the message editor.

Yeah, I knew I could link to an image on a website/page but that was a bit of a hassle I do have time for right now. I am surprised they haven't updated this BB to allow uploading/attaching images.

Does VS X3 create 5.1 surround HD files, 5.1 surround BluRay Disks/Folders and or 5.1 surround AVCHD Disks and or folders as Default or is the surround sound still an obscure option?

So it sounds like all the experts here agree that Corel's "new and improved" process for supplying extra content, is highly flawed.

Why doesn't someone suggest to them to simply supply a link to download the extra content, in the same way that VSX2 did? For everyone who purchased online/telephone they have our email addresses! After all, they emailed me the links to download the product!

We did during Beta Testing and have continued to mention to them since Public release that there are still problems. I discovered last night that my Desktop Computer has more material than on my laptop. On VS Express 2010 on my Desktop I have 6 Wedding theme templates. On my laptop just 1.

On the plus side I have found where the "Get More" stuff is being saved to on an XP machine:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Corel\Downloads
They then appear in folders below that location.
I copied any missing from the desktop to the laptop that were missing and ran the exe file
e.g.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Corel\Downloads\540228697_307033\1254516433695\GetMore_Style_01.exe
But still only see 1 wedding template. I have thoroughly searched the
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X3
folder, and in particular the
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X3\Content\Menu Template
folder, but they appear to be the same.

I connected to my desktop installation of VSX3 from my laptop by giving the Desktop a drive letter. I then ran the installation on my desktop, from my laptop, and the 6 wedding menus were present. Run the laptop installation from the laptop and I am back to just the one again.

It is a pity that this new VideoStudio 2010 / Factory Plus does not work correctly because some of the menus offered do look very good.
I particularly like the one where the thumbnail is hanging from the washing line and swinging about in the wind.

Just tried it, again. Still don't have the optional buttons for "extra stuff". Even tried it in non-advanced mode.

So I was considering purchasing this product but I see that its hecka buggy now. Probably not going to do it. $500 worth of nothing for templates LOL.

The only "most buggy" component thus far is the new "extra content delivery system" - the keyword being "new". Just use the permalinks in the forums to download the "extra content".. My biggest gripe with VS in general (up through X3) is their processing/import engine. Doesn't seem to have changed much over the years and I still have to go to other products to import/convert "odd" videos that I feel VS should handle and not just drop-dead/crash. Yes, their first idea of a simplistic DVD creation module was a major joke. Glad they came to their senses and release the DVDMF7 SE module as an "add on". IMHO, all they need to do is integrate it into X3 (X2 had most of DVDMF6 in it so why is this so hard?) versus having to launch another external program. More free templates for DVDMF7SE would be nice.

This matter is being looked into, regarding extra templates you can import them from other Ulead programs such as earlier versions of VideoStudio, MovieFactory, MediaStudio.
