Video Studio Pro X3 DVD create mode

Post by victorcy »

It's quite a time consuming to go through vs x3 and the interface like the DVD creator is now using the Movie Factory 2010. I think it looks like a Pro but it lost so many easy ways to create a good DVD. Like for example the many easy to add frames plus the moving frame when creating a DVD plus lots of pre make menus which are now all gone from VS x3. I could not even hide the menu button or the page number and further to that the moving video frame does not even allow me to start from certain part of the video. It is a great shame to learn that since Corel took over, contacting Corel is so hard. There is no feedback email or Contact Us page where we can vent our heart out. I am being negetive maybe but the Vs v3 is a real pain to work with now. Great shame to even think that an easy user friendly program become a hard to not user friendly one. I used to be able to make so many edit with the layout, frame and functionality but now its just not flexible at all. If you give me 1 to 5, I will say 2.

As Black Lab says..your preaching to the choir.. We fully know, and understand this. We have expressed this to Corel, and they are fixing it. I'm not making that up. That is a a fact, just like the sun rises in the east. It will be couple of weeks yet, however if you just hang in there, I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised, and like it...

I have been authorised by Corel to inform our Web Board Members that Corel are aware of the problems and feelings towards the new Authoring Stage. Discussions have taken place involving Corel, Ron, Ken and myself and a solution is being worked on.

Please hang in there while Corel try and resolve this issue. Rather than a quick overnight fix that turns nasty, it is better that Corel spend a little time getting this solution right.

I cannot go into details at the moment because a number of alternatives are being considered and I would not wish to mislead or confuse our members.
