Icons instead of images PSPro X

I am saving edited jpeg images in a my pics folder.It has started to show
a PSPro icon in the destination folder instead of the image, how do I get round this................Ken

Are you saving them as jpeg or as pspimage?

They are being saved as jpegs.The line of named images along the
bottom have all up to now displaid the saved image.I am saving them one at a time but the last two are not showing the image- just an icon, I have XP home.The destination folder is getting big, thought I might open up another folder in my pics, would that help?
The aim is to get all the pics on my still cam card into folders
so that I can transfer them onto a usb stick then display them as a slideshow on the TV via a media box that the usb plugs into

Since my last post I have had to restart thr PC.Went to the folder where the icons displaid instead of images and they were there as images.Made another destination folder and saved a new image as a jpeg in PSPro and when it appeared in the new folder it showed as an icon as a PSP image.
deleted the icon and saved as a jpeg again but it showed as a PSP icon.
