Hi there,
I've been using an X2 for a while. I have got one installed on my PC and the other one on my laptop. I am wondering if I save a project on one, am I able to "take" that project to my laptop?
Thanks,
Project from one PC to another

Hi
Yes you can but bear in mind that a VSP file does not contain any video or audio clips. It is just a set of instructions of what to do with certain clips that are stored on your system. Hence if you move the location of an original video clip on your hard drive or wherever you store your clips you will have to relink it to make it show on your project. In VS x2 you have a facility called "Smart Package" you get to this via File > Smart Package... then complete the details. This will save you a folder containing copies of all the clips in your project together with the project file. You can then put this on a stick or CD/DVD and take it to your laptop. For more info on Smart Package see page 50 of Manual.
