Possible to add templates to MSP's Movie Factory?

Post by RaptrFlite »

I am thinking of upgrading my VS9 to MSP and so I tried using the MF LE built into the MSP demo. It's fine for me, but doesn't have NEARLY the number of templates built in as the DVD authoring that's in VS9. They both operate pretty much the same(does VS9 have an old version of MF in it?). Since MF won't let you custom build a template including placing the thumbnails 1-by-1 anywhere you want, I have to rely on the templates they include.....

Hi,

You can customize and add the contents to a favorites file.

For the money, DVDMF4 or DVDWorkshop 2 or Express is worth it.

Thanx for the reply Mike,

Does it let you place the thumbnails wherever you want? I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it...

DVDMF 4.0 lets you move/re-size thumbnails.

DVD WS 2.x (Full or Express) lets you have complete control over menu design :)

Not really.

If you have PhotoImpact, you can use the free plugin to make menus any way you like.

I hope to have soom tutorials up on DVDWS2/DVDMF4 menu making in a few days. It isn't hard at all to do a lot of really neat things. With all DVDMF4 has in it, it is a steal.

For the government folks, DVDWS2 is great as it has multi-language support for captions - often a requirement for their work.
