What happened to all the Titles in X3?

Can someone tell me where the animated titles are stored in X2 and X3? I've noticed there are way fewer titles in X3 (Why, I have no idea). I want to transfer the ones from X2 into X3, assuming that won't blow it up, of course.

Welcome to the forums,

It's going to be hard to understand, but really there are more titles in VS X3. Not at the start, and not in the TBYB (trial) version. Corel is using a new method of downloading patches, and content called GET MORE. It's that circle with the dots and down-arrow in the top-right. It will also appear in various Library menus, however be an orange color. When you see it, it means that content is available for download. Clicking on it opens a dialog to download it and install.

Corel also has a 3-day waiting period for this GET MORE to materialize in the full/upgrade versions. I'm not sure of the reason, but that's what they have. FWIW, I'm still waiting on mine.

Don't let this discourage you, because all the title templates have been, and can be done within VS. Experiment with the nice addition of being able to add video filters along with the normal title animations to your titles.

I actually was aware of the new content buttons, but I didn't think X3 actually took my old ones away and I had to use that to get them back. That's not very nice.

So, what did I do? I re-installed X3 to see if that was the issue and now my orange buttons are gone again.

Is this 3 days afer ACTIVATION on the internet of X3?

I am still unable to Activate!!

Have you tried phoning Corel to get an activation code? They should be able to provide you with the code, that you enter into the proper box. They have this option for those that may work off-line, not have an internet connection.

Unfortunately there is! So far I have not received the Get More message at all, yet other users have, and have downloaded a number of packs...

I have done nothing else with the ACTIVATION...

Never had option to save or know activation number but X3 Starts ok...

I even have the option of downloading extra content now ....

Thanks for listing the extras.
Regarding the Activation - if you are not getting the "Enter a Registration" nag screen then don't worry about it. If you have to re-install it again in the future it will still accept the serial number. The only difference is when you enter a serial number it "Phones Home" and adds the program to your User Account on the Corel Website.

Only it has not done that either with my installation -- and I have now installed the full Download version.... So let's see: that's no registration, no Get More....

Ah but at least I have DVD Factory 2010!!!
