If you're really stuck you can convert MOV to something else with SUPER(C) http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

X3 and Mov

Post by Trevor Andrew »

Hi Mike

Just tried some Mov files 1280 x 720 Photo-JPEG from Lumix TZ5

Loaded to timeline was instant.
Seem to play in project timeline very well, even with Proxy disabled. I think better than X2.
Early days

But there are many types of mov and you would be best to use the trial X3

Mov files

Post by Louis W »

Just wanted to share my thoughts and experience.

I was under the impression that .mov= Quicktime.

I have a Vholdr HD camera that shoots in .mov and have not had a problem with the files displaying properly in the Pro X3 edit. I have also edited a bunch of videos together and rendered into HD 720 p format and the videos are quite nice.
