Is it normal for your computer to lock up if you press the video camera button in the capture settings & the camera isn't connected ?

That could happen because the computer is now attempting to connect to something that isn't there. This sort of thing also sometimes occurs when you try to connect to a website that isn't responding. Most of the time you get a message cannot find.... or cannot connect to.... or similar.paulwho wrote:Hi,
