how to add more than 4 chapter buttons to 1 menu screen

Hello all,

i am a new member and this is my first post, im new to VideoStudio too.

i did do some searches and found nothing

how do you add more than 4 chapter buttons to 1 menu screen?

Welcome to the forums,

First we need to know what version of VS you're using? Prior to X3, they all were about the same. However Corel radically changed the DVD authoring component with VS in X3.

First after adding/creating chapters, you need to select a menu template that supports multiple thumbnail/buttons for chapters. Smart Scene menus do not.

So with a Thumbnail menu, first make sure you have selected from the Currently Displayed Menu drop-down menu selection below the preview screen, your Chapter menu. Then click on the Edit tab, and on the lower-left click on Customize. In the Customize Menu dialog that opens, click on the drop-down menu at the bottom (it may have Frame showing), and select Layout.

Now just scroll across to a template that supports the number of buttons of your liking.

Hi

I think you would be able to get 12 for a widescreen 16:9.
There is a 12 thumbnail menu file available.
