gif-x plugin problems.

hi everyone,

im confused with Gif Animator and Gif-X plugin but i have download both. i love Gif Animator, its brilliants, but i cant find Gif-X plugin, its there in my pc but cant find! And i open Gif Animator, im look for gif-x plugin but cant find as well!

im very grateful if anyone help me.

is it gif-x plugin use Gif Animator or not?

I don't remember offhand how the gif-x plugin install works, but I think it asks where a compatible program is to use.

Just uninstall gif-x and reinstall. When it asks where to put the plugin, go to the ulead gif animator directory (probably something like c:\program files\ulead systems\ulead gif animator). Make a directory in there. I called mine plugins. Now install the gif-x plugin there.

Open up ulead gif animator.
You'll have to hunt for this because I can't remember the specifics, but hunt around in the menus, and look for something that lets you choose directories to look for plugins. Set that to where you made the plugin directory. It'll detect the plugins.
Then you have to close ulead gif animator and re-open it. You'll then find the gif-x plugin under filters.

Sorry about the vagueness, but I don't have it installed on this pc.
