Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a nit-picking lawyer (though I am one!!
) but I don't read anything in what you quoted as saying VS can deal with 1080p video. That blurb was written well before the first true 1080p camcorder ever rolled off the assembly line. To most people, 'true HD' is almost exclusively associated with 1080i, though 720p has been around for a long while, and X3 can certainly handle that.
