Brand new to X3 and just downloaded the demo to test drive it. The implementation of CUDA and ability to play my AVCHD is really nice.
The only question I have is how do I move clips in the first (top) track they seem to snap together and I cannot move them independently? Is there a way to disable the snapping feature? The other tracks are able to move the clips around fine.
Thanks!

Welcome to the Forums!
And nice to see such a quick question so soon after I activated you!!
As the scientists say: "Nature abhors a vacuum". Well, unfortunately, Video Studio abhors a vacuum in the main timeline. You cannot have empty spaces between clips in the main timeline. You can move clips into different orders, but they will always snap together. You can insert a black (say) colour matte between clips if you need them to be widely separated, but otherwise, at least in the main timeline, you have to have continuous video, either with straight cuts or separated by a transition...
