If it's a Corel product it will definitley have bugs, glitches etc. etc..... Sorry Corel, but you need to pull your act together and get some decent programmers for all your products.

RE KPT...

Well, I still have 12 and I have my plugins there. I just pointed to them in x3 and they all work fine. (Using trial until my cd arrives)... I did not place them in the x3 program folders.

So far no crashes, but did not use all of the filters. Keeping 12 onboard until I am sure x3 is stable for what I need.

KPT is apparently not ready yet and will be available (to users of the full version) soon. It will come via the Help > Check for Updates facility.

I honestly am not having trouble with my KPT filters that I am using that are loaded in 12. However, I am finding 13 a bit unstable. Doing odd things when you least expect it. I am not using the organizer, but I use PSP so much I need it to be stable and running well when I need it. So far I am not annoyed too much, but we will see.

Digital Camera Noise Removal tool causing crash

Post by OldRadioGuy »

Application of Digital Camera Noise Removal causes PSP X3 to crash after working on several files. This happened six times yesterday and three times this morning. After each crash I ran a utility to cleanup leftover temp files and rebooted the computer.

Part of the time Windows 7 reported the event as APPCRASH and part of the time as AppHangB1.

PSPX3: Re: Digital Camera Noise Removal tool causing crash

An update of my experiences with problems with the Digital Camera Noise Removal tool:

It has been my practice to always check the Preview On Image box when running various PSP operations. As an experiment, I ran the misbehaving tool, did not check the box, instead expanding the tool's adjustment window and before and after images, and then applied the tool.

That may have stopped the problem. I used PSPX3 for three hours this morning, using Digital Camera Noise Removal on about 30 large images without a single crash.

Fingers crossed!

Hello,
After my download X3 installation I located a pdf manual here:

C:\Corel-PSPPX3\Corel PaintShop Photo Pro\X3\PSPClassic\Languages\EN

But, it is from April 2009 and it is titled Corel PaintShopPro Photo X2 User Guide!

Is there a newer guide for X3 available?
Best Regards,

Unfortunately the only User Guide is found on-line. Click on the orange with dots and a down arrow, found in the upper-right corner beside the Full Edit and/or Organizer buttons. This will open the Corel Guide, then follow the directions found there.

The on-line help that the guide directs you to is found here:

Ron,

When I called and ordered I asked if the download came with a pdf user manual.
The answer was = Yes.
I did not ask if it was for X3 .. my mistake?!!!

Anyway, I was on the "orange" earlier, even made it to the "learn" section, but...
failed to click on the Click "here" in the last sentence.

So, your answer to my question and direction got me going ..

Thanks for the help ...

P.S.
I will still use the "old" X2 pdf manual that came with the PSPPX3 for a quick off line read now and again.
Best Regards,
