Gentlemen, (and ladies);
belated Happy New Year. It would seem that a short sequence that I shot has created some interest in the media, and they are anxious to have me send them some STILL grabs from the HD footage.
Can someone please advise the workthrough to get the BEST quality pics? The native footage is HD 1440 X 1080, (from a Canon XH-A1), and I am uncertain as to whether to CREATE a file, using 'Project Settings', or whether there is some OTHER means of obtaining crisper footage. Sadly, I can not seem to get anything acceptable. Any advice welcome.
Best wishes to all.

Hi
Clip-Save as Still Image, will save the image from the actual video file on the hard drive.
Tools- Save Current Frame as Still Image ¡V will save the image from the project, Using the projects properties for the sizes.
This will save the image as seen on the preview screen.
Make sure your project properties match the video file.
