From PSP 12.5 Help | Aligning, distributing, and arranging vector objects | To move a vector object - After selecting the object with the Pick Tool it can be nudged as follows:
- Move an object one pixel at a time Press an arrow key.
Move an object 10 pixels at a time Hold down Ctrl, and press an arrow key.
Move an object 50 pixels at a time Hold down Shift, and press an arrow key.
Move an object 100 pixels at a time Hold down Shift + Ctrl, and press an arrow key.
However when attempting to do this the vector object is not moved, rather the screen is scrolled by the above amounts if the entire image isn't contained by the window. Please note that after Applying a vector text entry, when the text is selected and the Text Tool has the focus, the text can be nudged as stated above. And using the Move Tool provides the stated functionality for all vector objects on the layer, however individual objects are not moved.
What am I doing wrong or not understanding, why isn't functionality as specified in the Help file? Or is this a known issue that I didn't find in web forums, newsgroups and Corel's Knowledgebase? As you can undoubtedly tell, I'm befuddled: But what would you expect from someone coming from Win95a and PSP 7.
