Why do I get severe pixels when using the metalic texture?

Post by milbogo »

Hi,

I am trying to apply the metallic texture onto a shape, but when I spin the shape, you can see huge boxes (pixels) in the texture. this even happens when I set the preview to optimum quality. It also renders with the pixels.

Any suggestions?

Kind regards,
Mil

I don't know, however I'm interested in why this happens too. I've experience the same problem.

Well, count me in, too. That's three on the bandwagon.

I have difficulties in general with textures, but the metallic one(s) really don't work for me at all.

Would love to know how to apply it properly.

Have you tried turning on "filter" in the texture menu? It's a box you need to check.
