What was the Operating System on the other computer where it worked?

Have you tried Trevors suggestion with the TurboTax site?

The installation of X2 and X3 has for me cured the blip problem.

Installed X3

Ran the Blip_Test.vsp on X2, bingo, eureka it works, no blips.
I observed the same on my test system. After installing X3 trial and rebooting, without even running X3, I was able to produce movie without blips in X2.

Hi Xyzzy2

Very pleased you managed to get it working.

There is another post regarding transitions and HD video.
Seems as though not all transitions are that smoothe.

Let us know how you get on............

Now, if I could achieve the same without the need for installing gigabyte trial on my production system, which I am not going to do. I keep it clean.

I will try to take a look.

Just thought I'd comment. I installed the x3 demo and reran my test edit sequence in X2: I did not reboot the system after the vx3 installation completed: same freeze issue on my media system. I rebooted, ran the same VS project again on X2, and the render file was bigger than the first time but almost ran.
When I say almost, there was no freeze but a slight glitch at the point where the device usually freezes.
So installing the X3 trial does appear to have changed something relevant to X2, even if not a 100% fix.
