Font Examples for Titles

Post by AussieTX »

I did a quick search for this but didn't find anything.
I was wondering if anyone has a list of what all the fonts in VS actually look like.
I like to use different fonts in titles but I find it a pain having to highlight the text and then select the different fonts to see what the style is.
Years ago, I think it was with paint shop or print shop the manual that came with the progam had an appendix with all the fonts listed out so you could glance over them all and find the one you were looking for.
I know some of the listed font names are shown in their style but many are not.
Maybe this would be an easy wish list item if Corel could include a PDF on the bonus disk that showed all the fonts listed out. Just a thought.

Hi Pat

Fonts are installed on your pc from various sources.
Each program installed is liable to install some fonts.

These are available for all to use including Video Studio

Video Studio does install some but not all.
Your font files should be in C/Windows/fonts

I will have fonts that you don¡¦t have and visa versa, so for Corel to list them is not practical.
Yes they may be able to tell which ones are installed by VS, but I doubt that the list would be that extensive.

Look at the Title Library to see samples used by VS

Hi PAt
As Tevor says all the fonts installed on your PC in the windows/fonts folder are available to use in VS. A good FREE viewer of all your installed fonts is downloadable from here;

Hi John

Thanks for the link, very useful, maybe Steve should add it to the Free Stuff

Did have problems downloading the full file, used right click-save target as, before getting the correct download

Giday John

Thank you thank you. That is exactly what I was looking for.
Just having that minimized I can pull it up and browse through all my font styles and select the appropriate one. Excellent.
I agree this would go well with the "Free stuff".
Thank you again. :D

FWIW, Windows 7 offers a similar service if you go to Control Panel > Fonts, it shows a sample of every font on your computer, and clicking on one of them brings up the full style set and appearance for that font... I seem to recall that Vista may have acted similarly...

You could of course have a link to that on your desktop...
