With Corel it is impossible to guess or know, however since they have dumped nearly all of the former Ulead brand programs (MediaStudio Pro being one,) except VS, I can assure you that it most likely will not be something bigger.

I get the impression the ONLY product remaining is VideoStudio.
Feedback from the other forums tends to suggest no further developments of the other remaining products. This is only an observation not necessarily a fact.

I hope I am not alone in saying that I have never heard of a "Webinar". I assume it is a web based seminar but what form will it take?

Webinar.
Short for Web-based seminar, a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web.

A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements -- the ability to give, receive and discuss information. Contrast with Webcast, in which the data transmission is one way and does not allow interaction between the presenter and the audience.

Webcast
(v.) (1) To use the Internet to broadcast live or delayed audio and/or video transmissions, much like traditional television and radio broadcasts. For example, a university may offer on-line courses in which the instructor Webcasts a pre-recorded or live lecture, or an enterprise may Webcast a press conference in lieu of or in addition to a conference call. Users typically must have the appropriate multimedia application in order to view a Webcast.

(2) To use push technology, to send Web-based information to an Internet user.

(n.) The data transmission that results from one of the above methods.

Netcast is another name for Webcast.

Thanks Steve but when I said what form would it take, I meant will the ability to give, receive and discuss information be the spoken word or text?

It seems that one of the Moderators received an invite but none of the other members of the Web Board Team did.

I have used GoToMeeting in the past with great success. The ability to communicate with the moderator can be thru instant messaging, via phone using the call-in feature, or using your computer's microphone if that feature is enabled. It all depends on how the moderator has it set up.
