How do I merge small clips in DVDWS.
The problem is I have several small clips more than 100 pieces, it's total size is enough to fit just half of DVD-5, and I like to insert all of these in a DVD disc.
But DVDWS allow 99 clips max.
So, I have to merge some clips to one with chapters.
Since my clips are taken day by day.
I like to merge to each month clip.
Merging with other NLE may be OK. But I just want to do this job only within DVDWS as it should be.
As a test, I merge these clips with DVDMF3.5, created DVD folders and import to DVDWS. Notice that not all clips were import, also auto find chapters are not the start point of original clips.
Because it is a function of NLE, I didn't describe my pc hw/sw computing power.

what kind of clips are you dealing with? mpeg1, mpeg2, dv .avi, other type of .avi?
DWS doesn't really "merge" files, so you will have to do that with another program.
Did they capture as separate videos by timecode? If so, can you change your capture settings to capture larger files instead of breaking by timecode?

DVD Authoring vs Video Editing...
Like George said, for video editing you need another program. Depending on the features & effects you want, Movie Factory may be that "other program".
Workshop is a DVD authoring program. DVD authoring is done after the movie is made. In addition to authoring, Workshop can trim clips, it includes an MPEG encoder, an AC3, encoder, and it can burn DVDs.
Video Editing is the all the stuff that's done after the "film" is shot to make it into a movie. (Cutting, splicing & transitions, special effects, titles, adding music, etc.) For video editing, I use Ulead Video Studio and Womble MPEG Video Wizard.
You could use Movie Factory (as a video editor) to splice all of the clips together into one continuous "movie". Then, you can use Workshop to add chapter points, a menu if you wish... subtitles... second language soundtrack, etc.
Ulead's product line-up is confusing because they seem to claim all the programs can do everything.
Movie Factory is an all-in-one "entry level" program.
Video Studio is a video editing program with some DVD authoring capability.
I think Media Studio is advanced video editing with some DVD authoring capability.

Thank You GeorgeW and DVDDoug for your explanation.
Actually my small clips were taken by Sony digital camera mpeg1 function, and inserted into the PC with USB.
As described, I tried to merge these with DVDMF into Video_TS (not to MPEG1 as I fear to loss original quality). But that imported Video_TS rechanged merged file into Titles in DVDWS.
You may ask me, then why you made final DVD with DVDMF. My answer is "I liked to be author Menus & Playlists & Audio selection with DVDWS".
As I have seen in forum, "New version of DVDMF may support to import Video_TS with user option (1 title with chpters OR several titles). Merging Function should be supported also in DVDWS. (just my wish)
For the time being please instruct me, which program can merge small clips (may be more than 99) into a large clip with each chapter point for original small clips (it chapter points should be known by DVDWS). (Can I try with VideoStudio 7/8 ?)
I don't want to try other brands for it, as I am happy with Ulead.
