DVD does not return to menu after clip playback

I have created a DVD in VS11 with the option selected to return to the menu after a chapter is played.

It does not return to the menu however, but plays all chapters in one go.

I have tried to create the DVD a few times, every time with the same settings:
Sometimes the DVD returns to the menu after the first clip, but after the subsequent clips it won't return.
Most of the times, the DVD won't return at all.

A DVD will not return to the main menu after a chapter is played, only when a title is played (a Title being a separate video file that makes up your project).

AHA, I did not understand the difference between title and chapter.
