I have noticed a couple things as of installing the latest patch for windows 7.
First I used to be able to double click a transition in the library and it would automatically insert in the first empty spot between clips on the timeline. This doesn't work any more. This is a bad thing. Is this a preference setting somewhere I am missing?
Secondly when I set the properties in the dvd burning module to return to the menu after playback, the program remembers this as a preference if you call it that, on my future projects until I change it again. This is a good thing. I will continue to inspect it for a while until I trust it though.
Like I said, these things are subtle but I noticed them.
Any other little things that anyone has noticed like this?

Yup I've been following it. I guess my questions are more pertaining to feature changes that may have been snuck in along with glitch fixes in the two patches. I was just a bit surprised to see the changes and wondered about other ones I havn't noticed.Black Lab wrote:Have you read the Win7 thread?Any other little things that anyone has noticed like this?
Unless I missed it somewhere in the Win 7 thread I didn't see any discussion along those lines. Mostly a lot of problems. But I must admit certain sections of that thread made me sleepy since I didn't install windows 7 until the patch was out I had trouble relating
Speaking of which, does corel publish any concise release notes when they update? I haven't seen any.

The double click library is not documented as far as i know but is a useful feature.metmot wrote:I have noticed a couple things as of installing the latest patch for windows 7.

Have just checked X2 on Vista and does still work here, so must be associated with W7.
The navigation controls in the burner module remain as the last selected option, at least it has always done so for me, for all versions.
