Importing vob files

Post by nemonat »

Hi,
Is there a way to import the menu file from a pre made DVD video in Corel Video studio Pro? I am trying to edit a chapter and then recreate the DVD.
So I've managed to import the vob files by going to "Insert Digital Media" and already made the changes wanted. What do I do now to import the video menu and recompile?
Thanks for helping out :)

Welcome to the forums!

If you are thinking of importing the already made menu and somehow or other using that original menu in your new DVD, then no. The original menu was linked in the authoring stage to the original video, but the menu itself was then made into video with those links included. But it is now just a piece of video which can have no link to any new version of the original DVD you produce. So I am afraid you will have to re-make the menu in your new version of the DVD...
