Update
I am seriously going around the twist.
After the project I made, thru to Blu-Ray disc, after converting to MPEG2_HD.
Which played great as I said before.
The next project stuttered in VS, Serif Movie Plus x3, Premiere Elements 8.
I loaded an AVI file into Premiere 6.5, and that stutters!!
An avi at 720 x 576 for Gods sake!!
Its got to be the computer, but even after building them for Years, I
cannot get My head around why, after all its, as I said before, a Core 2
Duo, that originally compiled a DVD from start to finish in 22 minutes, as
apposed to the original comp XP3200, which did the same exact excercise
in 2 hours & 27 minutes.
Any help, ideas etc VERY gratefully recieved.
Regards.
Peter

Hi
Update.
After talking to a friend I havent seen for a few months, very clued up PC wise.
As an interim measure, I have overclocked My comp.
Basic tests so far, as in smooth playback, noticeable difference, very
responsive.
Later tomorrow gonna take the editing a little further, colour correcting
etc.
I have a faster processor ordered already, looks like it will be the answer,
if so I will change the ram also to match the speed of the new processor.
Fingers crossed!!
Regards.
Peter.
