Hello, My name is Ian Jones, I am 48 years old and live in Kent, in the South of England. I have been trying to do video editing on and off now for about seven years. My son got me into it as I was trying to help him make a film for a school project. It took ages to work it all out and I have spent so much time reseaching and getting to know how computers work, all through this rather fascinating hobby. I use a small mini DV camera (JVC GR D340EK), and Windows XP. I recently discovered Corel Video studio (version 12) and it does all that I want, capture, edit and burn. But, there are still a few things that I just get stuck on so I thought I would join a forum for a bit to get some tips.
