Video Studio 10 Plus Freezing in Share/Choose Template page

Hi All,
My first post..I have created a project using mpeg and Jpg files and when I get to the point of sharing and choose a menu template the program crashes.
I am running SP1 for VS 10, also the Vista Patch, OS is of course Vista on a DUO Centrino Intel Laptop, 1.67 GHZ, 4GB ram. 160 HD 512k Video
I also have a desktop, MSI 6540 MthBrd, 2.4 Ghz,2 GB RAM, running XP SP2, I have installed VS10 SP1 on there as a test and have exactly the same issue.
I presume its my project...can anyone help

Generally problems related to corrupt video files or transitions, will render to the point of corruption, or where the problem transition is located, then crash or freeze. Is this template one that you have created and saved, and was attempting to use? Is it one of the stock templates included with VS?

You could try rendering your project by just going to Share>Create Video File, then NTSC DVD or PAL DVD depending on what region you are in. Then there is the Custom option, where you basically leave everything as MPEG, however you must click on the Options button. Then go to the Compression tab, and set it to NTSC DVD or PAL, then at the bottom set the audio to Dolby, unless you prefer LPCM.
